The app on your phone shows v 1.0.0in Me & Settings. That string matches expo.version in the Android build. There is no hidden 1.x drip: library, tools, Ask, Comms, Map, Gear, and settings all live in this first public release.

Not a teaser build. These field surfaces are in 1.0.0 on Android — the same binary as the library and tools.

• Home field status. Clock, heading, network, lat/lon, altitude, speed, and nearby Comms peers sit under SOS on Home. GPS stays off until you enable it.
• Comms SOS and location notes. Optional short note on SOS and location shares — meeting point, delay, landmark. Proximity heartbeats stay note-free.
• Comms pins on Map. Incoming SOS, location shares, and live peer GPS drop as markers. Route on Map flies there and starts navigation when GPS is ready.
• Typed coordinates. Paste or type latitude and longitude on Map. Show drops a pin; Route here draws the road path and can start turn-by-turn.
• Data deletion. Me & Settings opens thelastmanual.com/data-deletion. There is no account; local data leaves with uninstall or the form.

4,900+ field guides across 9 topics. Free includes ~100 starter articles after install. Premium downloads the full pack (~28 MB) once, then it stays on the phone.

Comms is Bluetooth Low Energy mesh between nearby Last Manual phones: callsign, chat, SOS, location share, optional proximity. SOS and location cards take a short note. Incoming GPS drops as pins on Map; Route on Map starts navigation when GPS is ready. No cell tower. Free: 5 chat sends (SOS still works). Premium: unlimited. Messages are not end-to-end encrypted.

Map downloads region packs while you have signal, then GPS, waypoints, and routing run offline. You can tap a Comms pin or type / paste latitude and longitude to drop a pin and draw a route. Free can open the Map UI; packs unlock with Premium.

Gearis an in-app catalog of field kit with tagged Amazon links. Notes, emergency contacts, bookmarks, and checklists stay on the device. There is no The Last Manual account. Me & Settings links Version and Data deletion to this site.
