Data Deletion
Last updated: March 29, 2026
The Short Version
The Last Manual stores NO data on any external server. All data exists only on your device. There is no account to delete. To remove your data, simply clear the app's data through your device settings or uninstall the app.
No External Data Storage
The Last Manual does not maintain any servers that store user data. We do not collect, receive, or retain any personal information from users of the App. This means:
- ✓There is no user database for us to delete you from
- ✓There are no user accounts, login credentials, or profiles
- ✓There is no usage history stored on our end
- ✓There is no data associated with you on any server we operate or use
- ✓We have never received any data from your device
What Data Is Stored On Your Device
The following data may be stored locally on your device by the App:
App preferences and settings
Font size, display mode, notification preferences, and other app configuration.
Bookmarks and saved articles
Any guides or articles you have saved for quick access.
Custom checklists
Any checklists you have created using the Checklists tool.
Downloaded offline maps
Any map tiles you have downloaded for offline use.
Reading progress and history
Your recently viewed articles and reading position within articles.
All of this data is stored only on your device. It is never transmitted to us or any third party. It is stored in your device's app data storage, which is private to the app and not accessible by other apps.
How to Delete Your Data
There are two ways to delete all data stored by The Last Manual from your device:
Clear App Data (keeps the app installed)
This deletes all your bookmarks, checklists, downloaded maps, and settings, while keeping the app installed on your device.
Android
- 1.Open your device Settings
- 2.Tap Apps (or Application Manager)
- 3.Find and tap "The Last Manual"
- 4.Tap "Storage"
- 5.Tap "Clear Data" and confirm
iOS (iPhone / iPad)
- 1.Open the Settings app
- 2.Scroll down and tap "The Last Manual"
- 3.Tap "Reset" or find the data reset option within the app itself
- 4.Alternatively, delete and reinstall the app (see Option 2)
Note: iOS does not have a system-level "Clear Data" option like Android. The recommended method on iOS is to delete and reinstall the app.
Uninstall the App (removes everything)
Uninstalling the app removes all app data including bookmarks, checklists, downloaded maps, settings, and the app itself.
Android
Long-press the app icon on your home screen or app drawer and select "Uninstall," or go to Settings > Apps > The Last Manual > Uninstall.
iOS
Long-press the app icon on your home screen, tap "Remove App," and then tap "Delete App" to confirm.
No Account Deletion Required
The Last Manual does not require account creation to use. There are no user accounts, no usernames, no passwords, and no profiles. Because no account was ever created, there is no account to delete.
If you downloaded the app through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, your purchase/download record exists in your Google or Apple account, which is managed by those platforms directly and is unrelated to The Last Manual.
