Not a satellite messenger.
Bluetooth chat (BETA) reaches other Last Manual phones nearby: a room, a street, a clearing. Not Iridium, Starlink, Garmin inReach, a PLB, or an EPIRB. The GPS dot uses navigation satellites to find where you are. Messages do not. If nobody nearby has the app, the list is empty.
Not a government product.
Independent educational app. Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official product of the U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force, FEMA, EPA, USDA, FCC, NOAA, the UK Ministry of Defence, or any other government or military body. No agency seals.

Comms is beta, Pro, local, and not end-to-end encrypted. Range is Bluetooth, not a county. Ask the Manual runs on the phone from the library already downloaded. It is not a cloud chatbot, and it can be wrong. Offline maps are packs you download, not live Google Maps. Hospital, water, and fuel pins can be stale.
